What Air-Gapped Means
What "Air-Gapped" Actually Means
An air-gapped system is a computer or network that is NEVER connected to the internet. Not by Wi-Fi, not by Bluetooth, not by ethernet cable. Completely offline.
Why This Matters
If a computer can't connect to the internet, a hacker can't access it remotely. It's physically impossible.
Think of it as a safe in a locked room with no doors or windows. To add or remove anything, you must physically go inside. A hacker across the world cannot reach it online—there is no online connection. The only access is physical.
